Vaginal Filler in Busan

Some clinics inject hyaluronic acid or other fillers into the vaginal wall, the opening, or the labia majora to add volume or a "tighter" feel. This guide explains what is involved, what is known, and the risks to understand first.

What it is

Genital filler injections use the same kinds of products as facial fillers, most often hyaluronic acid. They are used for several different goals:

  • Labia majora: restoring volume to outer labia that have thinned with age or weight loss.
  • Vaginal wall or opening: marketed to create a narrower feel during sex.
  • G-spot area: see G-Shot .

The procedure takes a short time in the clinic with numbing cream or local anesthetic. Hyaluronic acid is gradually absorbed, so effects are temporary and repeat sessions are common.

What the evidence shows

Published evidence is limited to small case series. There are no robust trials showing that vaginal filler improves sexual function or satisfaction, and no major gynecology society recommends it as a treatment for laxity. Labia majora filler has a somewhat more established cosmetic use, but data are still limited.

Risks

  • Bruising, swelling, pain and lumps.
  • Infection or a delayed inflammatory reaction.
  • Filler migrating or feeling uneven.
  • Vascular complications: injecting filler into a blood vessel can block blood flow, and rare serious events have been reported with genital filler. Ask whether the clinic stocks hyaluronidase (which dissolves hyaluronic acid) and how emergencies are handled.

Avoid permanent or unidentified fillers. Ask the clinic to show you the product name and packaging.

Alternatives

For a looser feeling, pelvic floor training is first-line; see vaginal tightening . For dryness or pain, see vaginal dryness .

Cost and insurance

Genital filler is cosmetic and self-pay, not covered by Korea's National Health Insurance. Cost depends mostly on the product and the volume used. Ask for a written quote per syringe.

Vaginal filler FAQ

  • How long does vaginal filler last?

Hyaluronic acid is absorbed over months; clinics typically quote somewhere under a year to around a year or more, but there is little reliable data for genital use.

  • Can filler be reversed?

Hyaluronic acid filler can usually be dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase. Other filler types may not be reversible.

  • Is it safe?

Most side effects are minor, but serious vascular complications, though rare, have been reported. Choose an experienced doctor and know the warning signs.

  • Is it covered by insurance?

No. It is cosmetic and self-pay in Korea.
